[attr="class","likedoinfo"]In the world everyone has a key role, may it be crafting? The player will be given the option to learn a profession, a professions is how items are made in the world. Meaning that for new items to come into the world a player must gather mats ( Materials for them to use in the crafting ) The materials come from doing bounties or doing Profession based Role-plays that after an X amount of post you will be given mats. The professions range from two categories
Gathering and Perfecting. The player will get all Gathering but only one Crafting Profession, this so that players have a main focus when crafting new weapons or items. You will be come an artisan in your own right, given the time and dedication you put into your Crafting Professions. You can use your profession in any thread, just make sure you post in the staff notify and leave a note on the post where you started to use it we will be reading all post after that one, the amount of ore or herbs you find is based on how well the post is and how many post you did while using your gathering .
Perfecting Professions range from many things, in a lifetime a person will spend hours up years learning a craft that is best suited for them. A person who has mastered two of the Perfecting professions is person you may want to be friends with, they know what they are doing when it comes to crafting a weapon with supreme stats or Armor that can protect from that of the most deadly of attacks. They also can create potions that give life and they can create new elements by combing two other elements the combination of things are endless as long as you have the talent and time to work on your professions. Everyone is given the opportunity to pick one profession at the start, after the first profession is selected you have to buy a profession license for the second and so on. You can have a total of 3 Professions at Max.
Armor Smithing, it's one of the best professions when it comes to crafting armor and all protection goods. They can create almost any type of gear from ore depending on the amount of ore they are given to the amount of time it takes to process the ore and melt it down. The ore has a huge effect on the type of Con and stat bonuses that will be given, if you are proficient in armor smithing you already gain a plus +3 to what ever you craft.
Weapon Smithing, it's one of the best professions when it comes to crafting weapons of all sorts besides staff or magical items and such. Weapon smiths have the power to create Magic items, but it's very limited and it depends what type of material they have on hand to make the weapon out of. If they have an ore with magical elements it can be done, but it's a challenging task and takes a bit of luck. If you are proficient in weapon smithing you already gain a plus +3 Str bonus on the weapons you create.
Blacksmithing, it's the best profession if you wish to craft a little bit of everything weapon and armor alike. It's different from just armor smithing and weapon smithing, the other crafts are focus on one or the other. Blacksmithing allows for you craft weapons and swords but it's very limited in how well the crafting it done. It's because you are not a true artisan in both crafts, you just know the basics of each craft and can use your skills to make the basics of what you need. This allows for you to have a plus + 1 of Con to armor or a plus +1 of Str to weapons you craft.
Jewel Crafting, is the most luxurious of all the other profession you deal with gems and all type of relics. You focus on what makes a good gem and how fine it can be cut down and embedded into a ring or necklace. This can come in handy when you are looking for the right bonuses on gear and such. You can also extract gems from ore, it's because you have a fine eye and know what type of tools to use for each type of ore. When you try to extract gems from ore you will find about two gems from one ore on chance you will be able to extract one extra.
Engineering, is the profession for those who are looking for ways to improve things in everyday life. What makes engineering special is for the fact that they can create new items that can be used by other players. This is done by creating a blue print of what you want to make with, items that are needed to create it. An example would be a chopper, a mechanical chopper. You would make the blue prints for it, also have the materials needed to create such a thing. Once you have all the items you can use magic and create the item. Engineering does not only stop at normal everyday goods you can create magical engineering goods also such as magic lamps or magic grenades. *note* This profession is used to create new items in the world, we the staff team will be paying attention to what items are made. Threads that have to do with a new item have to have the tag DM Bear for it to get credit. ( This account is so I can keep track of blue prints and put it into a code )
Enchanting, is the profession for those who are looking to infuse magic into the gear they wear and gear that others may wear for a price. This is done completely with magic, it's a long and enduring task of infusing magic from ore and goods with element properties. Items that players enchant will be based on what type of items they infuse or use while enchanting. Lets say you have a Staff and you want to enchant it with Con 5 you will need an item that has Con 10 because when enchanting takes place the item being enchanted will only take half of what is being infused. If the item has an Odd Number you round Down an example would be 5 half of 5 is 2.5 round down so it's 2. Ore, however is a different story it has many different effects depending on what ore you use.
Leather working, just like it's counter parts Armor Crafting and Weapon crafting you can get added stat bonuses with leather armor that you craft. This bonus is for DEX + 3
Tailoring, just like it's counter parts Armor crafting and Leather Working you can get added stat bonuses with leather armor that you craft. This bonus is for WIS + 3
