SITE RULES
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THEM
REGISTRATION - When you register your character please register with your Characters First Name. This is for tagging reasons, It will allow for everyone on the site to know what name they are going to use with they decide to tag you it also saves everyone time. When you are done registering you will be able to change the name of your character to their full name. It should read FIRST LAST when you make the changes.
APPLICATION - When you make your application, title the thread with your class in all caps and your name in lowercase, it should read class, first last. When you make your thread and post your application you have one month to actually finish the application. If you take more than a month, please PM staff! Otherwise you lose your face claim and your application is moved to the archives. If you are done within the limit and want it looked at, make sure you post in the notification thread we have set up.
Accounts
- You may create as many characters as you like, however you will need a new account for each one. Account names should be labelled "Firstname lastname" Please keep in mind that, there are requirements in terms of activity.
CHARACTERS - If you plan to make another character, please try and have one or two active threads completed. We would like to keep the character population under control! We don't want non active characters with important roles. If you plan to play a canon character, you must be active. If we find out that you are not active we will strip you of the role and you will have to re apply for it. It's not being harsh; it's being fair because others may want that role and we want to give them a chance.
FACE-CLAIM - PLEASE DO NOT RESERVE FACES THAT YOU PLAN TO JUST HOLD AND NOT USE RIGHT AWAY! We only allow a ONE week limit on claims. You can not claim a face that is already in use; if you make a character application without looking at the face claim list and see your face is used you will have to change it. We are not bring rude or mean; we are being fair because others have a right to the face just like you. WE DON'T DO CGI images either! We only allow faces that are from games, but we ask that they get as close to animanga as you can get them if you plan to use the face. So fanart would definitely be acceptable here.
POSTING - We really don't have a word limit but we would like for our players to type over 150 words minimum . We don't want a half done post or 10 word post; why even post if you are going to post 10 words? We the staff use the plots to help the site move along, and we don't want small plots. We are not grammar Nazis but we ask that you type with the basic uses of grammar like words spelled correctly etc.
ACTIVITY - We ask that players have about 3-4 active plots or completed threads between the activity checks. This is not a requirement but it's a small personal task that we have for you so we know that you are active and are still a part of the big picture.
RESPECT - When you are role playing we ask that you respect other characters and their plots. If a player decides to decline your characters plot then respect their wishes and try to come up with another plot or find a new person to plot with. Also if you plan to fade do something that is not PG-13 you need to FADE TO BLACK.
EVENTS - We ask that everyone on the site try their best and make an appearance in the events. All players have a chance to enter the event; to enter the event you must post! The events will have a limit of how many post are needed to be completed and information about what the task is or what is taking place. Not all of the events have to be in the staff made thread but it must be tagged and linked to the main thread.
Explicit Material
- Proboards is a family-oriented platform, so it is important to keep it fairly light. Explicit material (both IC and OOC) is expressly prohibited. No sexual RPing, inappropriate images/links, etc. If you're not sure what's alright, either ask a staff member or consult the Proboards TOS.
GRAPHICS - Profile images must be 100x100 and hover profile images should be 200x300. If you don't have graphic software send the staffers a PM! We don't mind helping you make a few images for your character.
IN GENERAL - As covered in the RESPECT point, please be courteous and polite to everyone in the community as well as guests who visit in the cbox. If you have an issue with a member on the site, please contact a staff member to address your concerns, but the general rule we advise is that you are welcome to stay or leave if someone you have bad blood with is also on the site. Bottom line: we do not want to force you to stay in an environment you are uncomfortable with. All member-created content must be original, and not copied verbatim from another source. This also include graphics (unless graphics are created for you from a friend), and templates with the credits removed. If we find that you have plagiarized content from another person, you will be banned. We do not take plagiarism lightly!
