Savage wastelands, not a place Valkyrie found himself regularly. He would rather be in the Kingdom, safe-- around the magic barrier enjoying a cup of ale. But this just happened to catch his eye as he made his way pass the request board earlier. "A new breed of monsters?" It seemed like a challenge, plus he could get some popularity for bringing back a new monster to be added to the bestiary. Now his only problem was he had no one solely committed to combat that he could bring on this quest with him. He was a mage, he's support in his eyes, he needed someone he wouldn't mind getting in the front-lines and getting their hands dirty. He searched around the request boards, lurking-- waiting to see someone who was solo and needed a partner. He had no luck...
He was losing hope and was going to give up, but he decided to search for another 10 minutes. "There has to be someone."
